Ok I just started treatment recently, tested positive IGG ELisa for for Bart, the WBlot was negative band 41 only.

Did 6 weeks a of 1000mg Ceftin as a abx challenge

and retested still positive bart, still

inclonclusive blot

I tolerated the Ceftin very well, so the doc

swiched me over to Bactrim to address the

coinfections. And my symtoms went thru the roof,

I have 90% cognative stuff to begin with , word

finding, bad anxiety/air hunger, foggyness,

memory. prolly have babs as well as bart, but

bart is what I am at least sure of based on

testing, as their checklists

decribe me pretty accuratly

I was getting away with .5 mg Klonopin as needed

but now on the Bactrim I need to take 1mg or more

to get some relief. From what I read with Bart

herxs usually start fast and hard and then

resolve in week, any insight would be appreaciated.

Is it normal for get a an immediate response like that from BActrin? With the Ceftin I took weeks I had what I would describe as an achy, tired , stiff neck, sore knees and feet herx, but this Bactrim seems to go directly to brain and really stir up my anxiety / air hunger

Also rather than take full pills twice a day is there any downside to breaking em in half and taking 4 halfs 4 time a day?

OK...FYI ...BActrim deals with RICKETISA as well and BABS and bart...and this is a great hit.So you might not be dealing with only bart.

Hang in there. It is working .
