I spoke with someone this weekend who swears by MMS. I had never heard about it before speaking with him.
Are there any contraindications to using it? Can it be taking while using antibiotics?
What exactly does it do?

Yes you can far away from it..let say you use it first thing in the morning considering that you have taken the last dosages of antibiotics at 8pm.
So you wake up and you take the dosages.
I have used -and Actually my eksperince is HIGHER dosages once a week better than small dosage every day .
WELL prepare to herx to death if you have protozoas( I buy days with that while I do other things) .
based on Dr K 2008 protocoll that uses RIZOLS ...he has 15 drops of MMS than 1 hr wait than take another 15 drops after an hr...( BABESIA PROTOCOLL considering that you have treated parasites before that and some of bart with his RIZOLS).
Than you repeat it the next day ...than one time a week after that .
WHEN babesia is high the herx is higher( protozoa bug comes up strongly and I can not deal with it as I am treating other things I BY TIME ) .
YOU Have to make sure that 4 hrs later you take it no VITAMIN C needs to be used and no fat food or diary ....
LET say that day you have a break from ANTIBIOTICK so instead of taking them in the morning...you take them only at night ..so no contradication..should be back than ...
You drink MMS in the morning and if you want to take antibiotics take them at night.
I doubt you can handle that DOSAGE and take antibiotics..
The dosages is strong enought to put you 5 days in bed as in my case...does not seems to do that to my daughter. She felt nausea and goes to school ..but is so fatigue...
In my case I AM FLAT in bad for 4-5 days...when I used it for the first time...now I am just sick in bed...than a few days later I feel more energy and I HAVE A VERY GOOD DAY ...without using any antibiotics...
I am not sure you can handle the taste , honeslty I can not.Tried it again a few days ago ..and could not take the second 15 drops..Seems to shut up many things in the blood...and for a couple of days..I test no activity of anything....
you are suposed to treat it for 4-8 weeks straight.

It is not without risks. I used it for about a month over a year ago. Never stopped having GI problems, vomiting, etc. and so I ultimately stopped. Some say that is somewhat expected with MMS, but I don't think it should be done without working with your doctor in case you react badly to it.
Those that I knew that had amazing results with it, and there were some, eventually stopped and long-term they continued to be symptomatic.
Do a lot of research and then make an informed decision working with your doctor.

MMS is a detoxifier also. It may render the antibiotics ineffective, but I am not sure.
MMS works on Lyme and many other bacteria, but it is no more effective against the cyst form than any other treatment. It also is hard on the stomach, particularly an empty stomach.
MMS is most useful for treating unknown pathogens that cannot be resolved by any other methods. It is also useful for an emergency Lyme treatment, if you are bitten by a Deer Tick. I use it when I get bit, which was twice last year. I have not contracted Lyme yet. I also used Doxy one time after MMS use.
It is useful for many things, but you need to be careful as it is quite powerful.
