Hi,
I have been having a difficult time with gastroparesis and brain fog.
I decided to take coconut oil for my brain fog and an added benefit was that it really helped me with my gastroparesis. I have been taking 2-3tblsp a day.

Is it true that coconut oil can also be effective in the treatment of candida? Linky

Hmm, that's interesting, thank you for sharing! Three years ago I had to cut ALL oil out of my diet (and almost all fat) due to delayed stomach emptying and severe gut inflammation...but maybe I should consider testing coconut oil out again...I'm sure my body would be thankful for the fatty acids! Thank you for sharing your experience.

Coconut butter tastes better than the oil.

Dear Friends,
I haven't ever tried coconut butter, but coconut cream is wonderfully delicious!
You know, I found out (while researching psychiatric abuses during the Nazi era) that psychiatrists starved patients to death by feeding them enough calories, but NO FAT.
Yuck.
Since the brain is the organ with the most fat of any, I'm particularly keen to get "good" fats into circulation! Coconut oil is long-chain mono-saturated fat--something the body can use right away.
Did you have trouble with coconut oil before?
Best,
Cass A

Monolaurin is good, too. You may want to check it out if you like coconut oil.

Dear Everyone, When my Thyroid was slow, I used coconut oil to help it. Now it is hyper again! I used 2-3 Tablespoons daily and also took 1 capsule each of Solaray's Rosemary Leaf Extract and Ashwaghanda daily. Coconut oil is an anti-viral, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and is also excellent for beauty treatments. You can moisturize your skin and condition your hair with it as well!
