i have been off biaxin for about a month. i just started diflucan 100 mg and have been on it for about 3 days.
i am so short of breath i can't sleep. laying down causes gasping for air. my chest is just sort of sore and my upper muscles hurt. i itch all over too.
i don't know if this is lyme rearing it's head or if it's a yeast herx.
the polar bear furry tongue is not as bad but i still have it.
also, i'm running a slight fever, 99, usually i'm around 97 to 98.
my fingers are not as red and my throat is not white, except for tongue so apparently the diflucan is doing something.
herx, but i can't tell if it's yeast or lyme coming back. got any ideas?

Dear randibear, Yeast can make you feel awful as it dies off. What happens is as yeast cells burst, they release toxins into your bloodstream. The good news is, it is temporary. As Lymetoo said, watching the diet will help a lot. Just take it as easy as possible!

My yeast die off just made me god aweful tired. Even worse than normal, and my fatigue is why I can't work. And, I know it was the diflucan because at that time I didn't know I had lyme and we were treating for yeast.
