Hi Guys,

I have been having some issues lately that have been bothering me and wanted to get some advice.

For the last couple months ive hardly had any appetite and have been bascally forcing myself to eat. I will constantly feel full and have cramping pain in my abdomen all over.

From time to time i will have sharp shooting pains on my right side of my abdomen and it will make me dizzy for a second. I have also been haveing a soreness on the right side of my abdomen.
On top of this ive just been really gassy.

I have let this go for a while and just thought maybe it was meds or just the illness but now im starting to think maybe its something else.

Have any of you had this same sort of thing? Its been bothering me for too long and im barely eating enough.

Is this possibly gallbladder related? Im concerend i may have gall stones stuck in my bile ducts.

Any ideas of what could be causing this?

I hate to think everything is lyme related.

Thanks,
Joe

What antibiotics are you on?
You constipated?
Taking probiotics or antifungals for yeast protection?

Yea sorry i should have mentioned that. Im taking rifampin and tindamax right now. I am about to add in ketek.

Im not constipated and my bowels are moving fine.

I dont take anything regularly for yeast protection but i will take sporanox occasionally and i follow a real healthy diet and take plenty of probiotics.

I think you're right to want to avoid blaming everything on Lyme--could be, but not everything is Lyme-related.

You might want to ask your dr. about gall bladder issues.

I never had a classic gall bladder attack, but I had a lot of just vague stomach issues and then 2 weeks of what just felt like a stomach bug (nausea, felt sick when i ate...).

They did an ultrasound on me and found multiple gall stones.

I had surgery like 2 weeks later.

It certainly hasn't taken all my stomach issues away, but I haven't had anything like that since then.

It wouldn't hurt to get it checked out.

If you still have your appendix, this could certainly be an inflamed appendix. If so, this could be come very serious and you need to have this ruled out ASAP. A ruptured appendix can be fatal.

While appendix pain is usually on the lower right, it can be referred to be anywhere in the abdomen. Be sure to get this checked.

Regardless, a gluten-free diet is an excellent idea. If this is not appendix, you may find tremendous relief by avoiding gluten. I sure have.

In terms of loss of appetite it could be the rifampin causing that. I have the same issue with that.

Thanks guys,

I dont believe i have any food allergies and i dont get diarhea ever.

I dont think its my appendix. Its more on the upper right side and then just all over cramping gassy pain.

I just started the rifampin back up a couple weeks ago and i took it before with no loss of appetite issues.

Thanks for the input though.
