I have not yet been dx'd with Lyme (yet). I had a test done by Quest that only showed postive bands on IGG 30 and 41. My dr said that wasn't enough to be positive. Anyways I've ordered the test from Igenex and am waiting for it.

Anyways, ever since my first "flare" in May 07 I've been getting a rash on my belly just above my belly button. I believe it starts out just really itchy, then when I itch it it turns into bumps and welts. Itches like crazy! I have never once had this until I got sick. The rash will usually last several days to several weeks. It has came and gone over the last two years with no rhyme or reason...

At first someone said it may be an allergy to the nickel on my jean buttons, but wouldn't I have it all the time then since I wear jeans everyday? Also, why would it just show up since I've been sick. I NEVER had it before. I think it is somehow related to my illness whether it be lyme or not.

Are rashes besides the bulls eye rash common in Lyme? Does anyone else get this? Any suggestions?

I can't figure out what it is. Driving me crazy though!

Thanks!

It possibly could be Bartonella. That co-infection can cause many odd skin reactions.
