and a rash. She thinks she is just allergic to tick bites. The rash went away.

Okay. . what would you do? Her doctor said a 6 week prophylactic course of doxy is overkill.

That is what I would do.

How bout you?

She says she is "allergic" to tick bites, and that is why she gets the rash.

hmmmm. . . .

Well, Grandma (who used to be a nurse) got two doses of doxy from her doctor, who reassured her that without symptoms, and without a bullseye and with a rash that went away, that the two doses are just prophylactic.

And she has seen Under Our Skin.

I can't even believe it.
