Does anyone know how to read the results of this test done by Quest? They report all kinds of combinations of CD57+/CD3+/CD8+. Thanks. --Judy

Supposedly LabCorp is to do the CD57 test, not Quest... --------------------One can never consent to creep when one feels an impulse to soar. ~ Helen KellerMy Lyme Story

Our new insurance company only covers tests run through Quest so our doc had them run it. Now we do not know what to do with the results. --Judy

I had this happen to me too. My doctor said not to bother with Quest, so I had her send the blood to labcorp and will just have to pay for it. Quest does not do the right test. I had it done by them in the past and the result meant nothing. She said it is around $100 for the test through labcorp.

I have also read about others questioning the reliability of the test itself. Some feel bad with high numbers (which are supposed indicate you are doing well) and others report feeling good and having low numbers. I wonder if it is even worthwhile to run the CD 57 test if it is an out of pocket expense. --Judy
