I have a friend who was recently diagnosed with lyme and was contacted by Bio Lynk and they offered to pay $800.00 per week for blood plasma to obtain antibodies. They said that they needed the antibodies because they are working on a vaccine. Their web site says they need them for test kits. They are looking for plasma from people with lots of problems, primarily auto-immune and Infectious Diseases. For lyme they want someone who was diagnosed within the past 2 weeks, an acute condition or someone who has symptoms. That covers the rest of us. They will collect this plasma at FDA sites. If this is a private company, why are they allowed to use FDA sites for collection ? Has anyone heard of this company or this program ? I tested positive recently but was never contacted. I guess it might be up to the individual doctor to submit info. Why don't they have a site where we can inform the FDA and CDC exactly now many people in the USA have LYME DISEASE...Then the CDC wouldn't have to guesstimate how many of us are ill and continue to be ill.2
