Does anyone else wake up with swelling in their feet in the morning that actually gets better when they get up and start moving around? What does this mean?
I've also been noticing that my legs/feet have kind of been falling asleep lately and I have kind of a menthol cool sensation in them and a little bit in my arms. Seems like a circulation problem, huh?
You know what? I just remembered I ate a lot of salt last night. Maybe that's why. But, I'm supposed to eat a lot of salt b/c of my "POTS" syndrome. I worry about my kidneys though with all the salt I eat.

Yes, I am actually. I'm on Armour Thyroid for it. In what way does being hypothyroid cause this?

Low thyroid is common. In Lyme patients I do not
think it is absorbed properly or and is blocked by
meds. My doctor has suggested not to take hormone
within 4 hrs. either way of other meds. to allow absorption.

Thanks so much for that info. Do you know by any chance what exactly about being hypothyroid causes the swelling?

I have 3 babesias and hypothyroid issues as well also POTS problems and I would pass out most of time due to that.
KILLING babs stoped FINALLY my edemas in my legs and NO problme anymore with my heart .My heart would skip and I would faint in a minute..
Killing babs made a huge diference..later will deal with helping my thyroids...

Hmmmm....I have POTS as well and possibly babs. This being due to POTS makes sense too since the blood tends to pool in the legs w/POTS. Guess I need to address the possible babs as well. Last time I tried I couldn't tolerate the treatment but I think it was too much too fast. Started Mepron and Artemisia at same time along w/a bunch of abx. Maybe Malarone next time around.
