Has anyone found the 2009 Babesia Book by James Schaller helpful in their recovery. I was considering ordering it, but it is $55. I wanted to see if others found it helpful before spending the money since we are watching our finances.
Thanks

I ordered it from Amazon.com, but I think I paid closer to $95. I also bought the 2009 supplement book, but I can't remember what that one cost.
For me, the supplement book would not have been helpful without the original one too.
I am glad I got both of them, but I have so much trouble remembering what I read anymore I can't say that I recall seening any new or different information or not.
I use it as a reference book mostly. When I have a question I refer to it.
Except for pictures of blood smears there are not any photographs. I have both of his Bartonella books and they contains many, many pictures which I found very helpful.

Just wanted to make sure it wasn't a technical read that would be hard for a non-medical type to understand.

Have you read any of his other books? I have an earlier one of his about babs and he is a terrible writer IMHO. Plus, he didn't tell you how much artemisinin to use, but to talk to your LLMD. I thought it would have at least that. It seemed he was always saying talk to your LLMD. I couldn't even bare to finish it.

MorningSong,
It is definitely not technical. In fact, his writing style is very elementary it seems to me.
I agree with j_liz. He's not a gifted writer, but I am glad I added his books to my "medical library". I find I am continuously needing to look up something.

I wasted about $30 on his book 'Uses of the herb Artemesinin'.
Lots of big print, blank pages, and references...and maybe a single spaced page (if that) of useful info.
never again.
And I'm not the only one who got that impression.
