Oh, boy, does this guy need a clue!

I handed him a list of my LLMD dx (Lyme, bart, babs, ehrlichia, and Vitamin D deficiency) and the meds I'm on (Doxy and rifampin).

He about blew a gasket--he questioned the LLMD's dx, wondering if I have all these currently or if they were past infetions.

He said people don't usually get all these diseases at one time.

I was actually surprised that he even knew what they all were.

he asked how I could have gotten all of them at one time--I told him I got bit by the right tick.

Anyway, he wants my LLMD to send him a report (I don't know if I'll honor that request or not--not like I see this guy often),

and he doesn't feel he needs to see me anymore on an ongoing basis, since he feels that my gastro issues are probably caused by the TBI's

(Well, at least he's that smart).

So anyway, I left shaking my head a bit....

I'm sure the only reason he wants the report is to turn your LLMD into the medical board. [Smile]

Since you won't be seeing him on any type of regular basis,

I wouldn't be sharing any additional medical info with him.

Seems fishy to me.

I am suprised he can actually bill for the appointment.

Hugs,

Geneal

wow, sounds like a waste of time. I wouldn't be sharing my LLMDs records with a guy who already seems to know it all.

Yeah, I figured if I have my LLMD records sent anywhere, it will be to my regular doctor, not him.

He kept telling me, too, that I need to stop stressing over what my kids were doing in the exam room--(no babysitter today, had to being them)

well, sorry, but the 2 year old was climbing all over everything, and I didn't want him to fall. If you think that's stressing, then you don't have a clue about being a parent.

He just rubs me wrong all around.

Perhaps you could send him some info instead? Especially the articles where it states that ticks carry more than one infection?

I try to educate my doctors..ssometimes it works!

I bought my pediatrician a copy of Pamela Weintruab's book Cure

Unknown and gave it to him as my gift to him.

He is an old timer and was taught differently than today's MD.

He knows about the dangers of ticks.

He knows that the CDC guidelines of diagnosis of lyme aren't right.

He has stated to me you can't have a little of lyme in your blood

to be negative.

You either have it or you don't.

I plan on giving my pediatrician a copy of the DVD Under Our Skin

Don't get frustrated these doctors just don't want to listen
