Maybe someone could help me out. I had a bartonella wb in 12/08. Bartonella was 1:256 whereas it should have been ^1:64 (couldn't find the less than/greater than sign, sorry). In 1 /10 and then again in 3/10 the igg shows its in range 1:64 (v point to the left.) Could this be possible that I was so high one year and negative in 2010. I have symptoms so I'm on iv, but what happened that its negative. I've been positive since 2003 from Igenex, Stony Point and Specialty. Any ideas? Sorry if this is confusing. Shows my mind today. I know you can't go by tests, but I always kinda corresponded with treatment. Thanks so much.

At this point, I would base it on symptoms. But if your levels of something like Bart were high at one point, and then the levels dropped, that MIGHT tell you about whether Bart was the cause of your symptoms or not.
Like if your symptoms got better, Bart was probably the cause (since the titer went lower) but if your symptoms aren't any better with Bart result dropping, maybe your symptoms are from Lyme or another infection.
