Thought I would share the information with others in hopes it helps anyone.

One of my doctors recently recommended a book called The Detoxx Book by Patricia Kane and John Foster. When I went to the link to find the book, I discovered there is also a link to lab assist report kinda of thing.

http://www.bodybio.com/

It is $40. You enter the data from your lab reports and it produces a recommendation report on supplements etc. I didn't even know it existed.

I haven't yet entered my lab results into it because I am slowwwwwwww dial up in the hotel plus need to make sure I have all the current labs they ask for.

It looks like it takes raw data numbers and then crunches it into a graph format and then produces a report with supplement recommendations of what is needed to bring your levels to a mid-level optimum range.

Does anyone know if this is gimmicky kind of thing or could it be really useful for any of us???

I wonder if any doctors are using this lab report software link on this site or something similar to it.

I have never been given any report that looks even similar to the one shown on the site, but it looks like it could be an interesting tool.

The doctor who gave me the link is outrageously expensive and some of you may know who I am talking about. She provided the link and said it was an option for those who want to try to do self-help treatment, which I greatly appreciated.

I am still trying to hang in there with treatment with her, but now have the additional expense of staying in a hotel at over $2,000 a month while my house is being mold remediated. I think that may be why she shared the self-help information with me. Though, to be clear, she did NOT mention the availability of the lab assist report thing....she only specifically recommended The Detoxx Book available at the website. Just don't want there to be confusion about what she is recommending.

The same website and book was also previously recommended by Dr. Mary Beth Short-Ray though I had not ever had time to check it out until today. Now, see that it is the same info recommended by two separate doctors who have very keen insights on detox strategies so I think it is probably a good resource.

If you go the sample report links at website you can see the list of what different types of blood labs they want you to enter tests results for. There is also a FAQ link that answers more questions at the site.

Wondering what do y'all think about this as self help option? Has anyone tried it???

Jam,

So glad to see you on here! I have been thinking of you lately.

That sounds really neat. I have not read that book or heard of that, link, but if it's done correctly, it sounds as if it could be really helpful. Please keep us posted if you use it and have success.

Funny that you are writing about this, because just last night I was at Barnes & Noble and purchased a book calle "The Detox Strategy" by Brenda Watson, C.N.C. with Leonard Smith, MD .

I am just starting to read it. She also wrote the New York Times bestseller "The Fiber 35 Diet".

Her premise is what she calls RENEW or Reduce, Eliminate, Nourish, Energize and Wellness. She uses a holistic method, that she claims is very inexpensive.

Anway, I will let you know what I think after I finish it.

I read a little bit about what you are going through on the other site and can't believe all that you have had to endure. It's unbelievable what mold can do to us. I hope you are okay.

Good luck and my good thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.

hi liesandmorelies! Nice to see you again! Yeah the mold thing has been an unbelievable nightmare.

First I was diagnosed with FM/CFS for over 15 years. Then EBV, HHV6, CMV....then lyme and babesia for a year.....all those are lab tested positive so it is very real...but, mold is the underlying problem and is why I am not responding well to any treatment/supplement program.

I am just glad I finally have this major piece of my illness identified. Just hope it isn't too late:( Not giving up. I am determined to get well and recover my life. But, life will never be as I once knew it.
