today suddenly a strange sensation was creeping into my brain. is that what some describe as "panic attacks"? since then i feel confused, brainfoggy and anxious.
after a week without ab i started mino and flagyl again, both not in a high dose. (2 x 250 flagyl) i have experienced confusion and brainfog before - but only on highdose-iv-flagyl. it lasted for months.
ive just read an essay from fallon who describes, that a panic attack (even for the for the first time) might be a herx.
but i think ill never touch flagyl again and replace it by plaquenil again. its just too dangerous.
i hope i will not get an attack again. i have lyme since 8 years and really do not need new symptoms.

My dr. pulled me off of Flagyl after four days. It FREAKED my brain. Never, never again. Sorry you are going through this.

Not sure what you mean by "strange feeling" in brain being a panic attack?
Panic attacks are usually having many symptoms all at one time:
-raging heartbeat -difficulty breathing, feeling as though you 'can't get enough air -terror -nervous, shaking, stress -heart palpitation, feeling of dread -dizziness, lightheadedness or nausea -trembling, sweating, shaking -choking, chest pains, distress -fear, fright, afraid, anxious -hot flashes, or sudden chills -tingling in fingers or toes ('pins and needles') -fearful that you're going to go crazy or are about to die
Panic attacks are no fun, that's for sure. I'm glad I only get them every few months and not more than that (though I've love to never get them!). They are just awful.
