Hi there gang! I'm heading down to Texas on the 4th of July. Not for fun in the sun but heading to UT Medicine for medical reasons. Need help with a place to stay and transportation. Even suggestions on a really, really cheap hotel and rental car would be helpful. My appointment isn't until Monday the 6th so I have all of Sunday free and maybe Tuesday if no tests. Would be really nice to meet some more Lymenetters if possible. Met some at the rally for Dr. J. in N.C. and at one of the Lymefloats. Hope to hear from some of you soon. -------------------- Do not take this as medical advice. This comment is based on opinion and personal experience only. Alaska Lone Wolf

Hi there Groovy, Believe it or not, I found a great deal at Samsclub.com. Am staying at the America's Best Value Inn at the A T & T Center from 7/4-7/7. Got a hotel/car package deal for $168! Can you believe it? Would be great to meet some Lymenetters while down in Texas. BettyG told me how to do a search here so will give it a shot. Am taking my laptop to stay connected with folks on Lymenet with me so maybe some of us can meet for dinner. Thanks Groovy for your offer of help and maybe we can get together. -------------------- Do not take this as medical advice. This comment is based on opinion and personal experience only.
