Great Find and Perfect example and pictures of biofilm structures. I believe there are new pathegens being found such as the mystery protozoan in these matrixes. Possibly even a couple other unknowns in other forms of bacteria and fungus too.
Making it more complicated to treat and recover.

I looked at every slide last night. Interesting!
So...is there anything better to do for these biofilms than Wobenzym or other enzymes?
Would Heparin be better than the enzymes? (i.e., should I persuade my doc to try that on me?)
At one point in these slides they mentioned a few ideas, but I looked them up, and it wasn't anything that would be available right now, or anything that seemed safe to me. (a toxin in rotting apples that is possibly carcinogenic? no thanks!) They weren't treatment guidelines, just things that hold promise.
Is there anything else I can do about this? I don't want to wait until there is a standard cure for biofilms, I want to do something about this now. I'm sick of missing years of my life.
Oh yeah, the slides also mentioned garlic. That was the other thing I could add.
I read all the biofilm threads on this site, but I can't remember anything besides enzymes, and avoid magnesium, jumping out at me. Anyone?

I posted something here about terminalia chebula also known as haritaki fruit. You can also find it at health food stores as triphala. Triphala stands for three fruits, it's main constituent is terminalia chebula and has been used in ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years.
Read the following link associated with the discovery of this biofilm buster.
Al -- maybe you could assess what she has discovered and is it something we should pursue with? Just also want to thank you so much for presenting all the work shown in the slides. It explains sooooo much.
