omg,sofia i do that also!! i don't have a clue why or what it is.
havent told the dr that strange symptom, i dont do it every time i take a deep breath, but it happens a lot. it's wierd.

It might be caused by Lyme damaging hormone gland(s) and the CNS, which can have a large effect on the autonomic nervous system.
The Autonomic Nervous System controls things like chills, goosebumps, temperature, etc., among many other things.
Or it could be peripheral neuropathy, which is also caused by damage to the nervous system, but in the peripheral nervous system.
Or the two could both be involved, since it happens when you breathe in.
It is likely that with proper Lyme and co-infection treatment that this symptom will go away entirely.
There's another thread recently posted within the last week or so about goosebumps for seemingly no reason. You might also want to look for that thread, since it might be related somehow.
