I was prescribed doxy and lariam (because Zythromax gave me heart palpitations and Mepron made me extremely depressed...) After reading the side effects of lariam, I decided not to take a chance. At least nobody on Mepron committed suicide. I thought I would switch to Plaquenil since it is also an anti-malaria drug. Does anybody know if this combination might work? Thank you.

I'm sorry, I don't know. Maybe someone else will. Are you taking artiminisin? My Dr has me on Doxy,ZIth and Art.

Doxy only affects Babesia very weakly. The two won't be enough for Babesia, I believe. BTW, it would help if you changed the title of your post (you wrote Foxycycline).

Sofi,
Thanks for pointing out headline. Actually, I started laughing... You're right, it doesn't sound very serious. Probably too late to change now,
