Has anyone tried using cord blood stem cells or placental stem cell implants to treat Lyme?
I am curious because I just watched Dr. Paul Cheney's latest video on CFIDS (not Lyme doc so I'm posting his name, as others have before) from an April 2009 lecture in Fairfax, VA. It is tremendously interesting!
He is using porcine and bison derived cell signaling factors to treat CFIDS patients with positive results, but he also talks on the video about sending a couple of patients for cord blood stem cell treatment. He contends that patients over 40 need human stem cells to recover because of a lifetime of genetic adaptations.
Dr. Cheney states on the video that cord blood and placental stem cell treatments are actually legal in the US for off-label use, but doctors are performing them in other countries simply to save money.
