I've struggled with this for almost two years.

Previously I tried olive leaf, oil of oregano, caprylic acid, and even diflucan will not get rid of this.

The only treatment that has helped is V Fend (hard on kidneys). My kidney function blood work showed elevations in my kidney so doc stopped for a while and resumed. V Fend couldn't even completely wipe out this yeast problem.

I guess that's what 3 years worth of abx can do to a person.

What have others tried that have a severe yeast problem that knocked it right out?

By the way, I'm very aware of the candida diet which I know I need to be more strict with.

I've been off abx for almost 5 yrs and still battle yeast when I "fall off the wagon"... it's ever present, unfortunately!

I haven't tried V fend. That's scary about the kidneys.

Try my dr's 5 pronged approach. If you can follow it to a T it will GREATLY reduce any symptoms of yeast.

i would increase your probiotic or add another one such as VSL #3 and take increase your herbal antifungal such as fungal defense or oregamax.

perhaps you can get a rx for diflucan to get a jump start.

there is also an enzyme called Candex, which could be taken in addition to the above. there are other enzymes that address candida as well.

I've battled severe yeast for awhile now but when I went totally sugar free, yeast free, bread free and all that other garbage free back in October last year, my yeast cleared up.

I pretty much eliminated most foods from my diet, lost 45 pounds so far and no sign of yeast.

Good luck.

It usually works that way!!

Tickalert .. do that, plus the other 4 steps and you'll feel much better.

I've got to do it myself again!
