Are the horizontal stripes on the back diagnostic of Bartonella? Is there any thing else that can cause them?
If they go away (without treatment) does that mean the Bartonella is gone?

I think they indicate Bartonella, unfortunately.
Not sure if they go away on their own or not.
I have lots of Bartonella skin issues and have been on abx since April. My LLMD said that at some point my skin should clear up.

If they go away that does not necessarily mean you don't have it anymore. You can have it without the stripes.
