I've just been diagnosed with Lyme. I got the tick bite on March 23rd.
* Weakness entire right side of body * Hard to shave, brush teeth & hold fork with right hand due to weakness/immobility * Right leg weak and it sometimes gives out going down stairs * Right foot hurts all of the time * Twitching all over the body, but mostly on right side * Cannot control the right side of my voice box * Right tonsil swells often (especcaly when eating) * Right side of throat clicks when swallowing like I've got something scrubbing together
Could lyme develop into this type of single sided weakness in less than three months?

I guess it's possible.
It may also be possible that you had been bitten and infected before but were asymptomatic, and then this bite set things off.
This disease is crazy, and it's hard to get any concrete answers to a lot of questions.

I got a tetanus shot during annual physical around the same time I got the tick. I expect the tetanus shot set things off if it was an old infection.
I'm hoping I just picked the infection up and this antibiotic cocktail I'm taking will eliminate it.
