I know MS and lyme brain scans look exactly the same. That's all I've got on that subject though. Hopefully others know more.

Good subject.

I had a brain MRI last year shortly after my Igenex test.

The radiologist reported that I had 2 punctate foci of abnormal signal intensity within the left corona radiata, of non-specific etiology but statistically most likely ischemic, although Lyme disease can have the same appearance!

So in my case, the radiologist is equating ischemic with Lyme disease. Don't know if this answers questions for anyone as it really didn't for me since I suffer from mostly neuro symptoms, yet we don't know if their in the brain, spinal cord or peripheral structures - of course Lyme can affect all of the above.

Just wanted to share, MBB3
