I have been on leavaquin for 3-4 months. It has stirred upo quite a bit for me and I am glad I am taking it. IT also causes a lot of painful herxes in my joints and bones that go away. I may be dealing with that again in my knees, but I am also worried about my left knee having tendon issues now and I cant tell. I fee the same pain in my shoulders and arms and my other knee, but my left knee is popping and clicking a lot. How do I Know if I blew out a tendon?
I take 5 days off of levaquin to take Factive...
thanks, melissa

My LLMD thought my knee pain was a herx .... ended up that's what it was. He said in his experience, any tendon problems have started in the ankle. I was on it three months, and by that time the bart symptoms cleared up, so we switched to Rifampin to be sure it was gone.
