Hey all, So I saw my LLMD today, and i explained that i had not herxed yet.. he said not everyone does but its something they do look for. I had been on Biaxin 500mg, and some other anti-microbials. felt okay on it. I have a history of leaky gut and food allergies so I dont think i'd know it even if i herxed a bit cause i'd just blame it on food. Anyway, he wants to try biofilm treatment, said the bugs might be in cyst form.. is that common? especially in chronic infection? He put me on Biaxin 500mg and Tindamax 500mg plus phospholipid exchange, SPS-30, Pectin (pectasol) and chitosan. my question is, have any of you done this? does it work? did it make you herx when without it you didn't? I was sort of bummed today at the doc cause he believes i have lyme based off my western blot.. but since i dont have classic symptoms its like no one knows what the lyme might be causing.. so i keep second guessing if i even have it... ugh... just frustrated. thanks for the help all scott -------------------- IgM were 31kDa +, 39kDa IND, 41kDa +++, 58kDa +, 66kDa ++ and 83-93kDa ++.. IgG were 31kDa ++, 39kDa IND, 41kDa +++, 58kDa ++.

I didn't herx on Biaxin or zith. I am pretty sure I herxed when I added Flagyl (a cyst buster) to the Biaxin. I did feel better while taking the abx even though I didn't herx, so I didn't doubt that I had Lyme.
