I have not been able to sleep the last couple of weeks. I was wondering if it could be the Malarone. Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks!
Kathy

I had the same problem with Malarone so my LLMD allowed me to only take one pill a day in the morning which my naturopath told me later was not enough to kill babesia.

In Dr. S's babesia book he mentions that insomnia is a side effect from malarone. In the book it mentions that for mild babesia 1 pill/day is used to control it.
Higher doses, I guess, for bigger problems.

I took some Benadryl before I went to bed and that seemed to help some. I still woke up a couple times though.

Malarone taken in the morning makes me very sleepy and drugged. If I take it late afternoon, it seems better.
