If someone was bit sometime in the last 6 weeks, started 200mg doxy per day within a week of the bite (rash too) took it for 4 weeks
standard treatment is with symptoms still present?
if 400mg per day was taken what would be the worst side effect?
what do you think?

I sent you a private message telling the proper antibiotics and dosages for a recent tick bite.
The person must be treated not only for lyme, but also for the coinfections--babesiosis, bartonella, and ehrlichiosis. It takes 2 antibiotics to do the trick.
That's how my now famous lyme doctor treated me, and I was done in 30 days and had no symptoms the entire time (except a herx on the third day of treatment).
