Does anyone do extra treatments or other treatments on there own through their port or iv etc right there in your home?
I know of one person but I wondered if this is common practice. I am meaning things besides ABX.
If there is any nutrients, or alternative therapies such as Silver or Peroxide or EDTA or anything all that anyone has been taught how to administer or has just experimented with?

I was thinking IV glutathione might be good. Perhaps IV magnesium too. Don't have a port yet but when I get it I plan to ask my doctor about it.

Hubby has done numerous things over the last 5 years. He has had a PICC line in continuously during that time.
Other than antibiotics, seizure meds, nausea meds and pain meds he has done the following -- IV Vitamin C, IV glutathione, IV colloidal silver, IV magnesium, IV DMSO with antibiotics, IV Heparin, IV Phosphatidylcholine (the P.K. protocol).
I was trained by hubby's alternative docs how to do all these things. The docs wrote the scrips for IV supplies -- bags and tubing and needles and all the prescription supplements. We mostly ordered by mail from Medaus in Birmingham, Al. Have also ordered from Wellness Pharmacy and Apothecure.
Don't think any doc would allow you to do peroxide at home -- and personally felt it was of very little benefit. Also don't think any doc would approve EDTA for home administration -- definitely not calcium EDTA -- too many adverse reactions even in doctor's office.
Personally don't think the Argentyn 23 colloidal silver was of much use either.
This is not medical advice, just reporting on hubby's experiences.

I think nutrients can be very beneficial but definitely do not do silver or ETDA, calcium or sodium, without a doctor's supervision.
You can open up a can of worms that you will be very sorry you ever touched. Mobilizing metals with EDTA requires a professional, plus your kidney clearance levels needed to be checked after starting EDTA to make sure you have the capacity to clear it.

Lots of IV antibiotics but nothing else. I wouldn't dream of doing anything IV without doctor's knowledge - the effects are too magnified with IV to be messing around.

Yes, absolutely wouldn't use the line for anything besides what was prescribed by LLMD without their knowledge and approval.

Great Responses.
So it seems that some have done various alternative treatments after being trained to do it correctly.
I am sad to not hear that something has really helped a ton by being able to do it at home in an ongoing and consistent way.
Do you think there is a huge advantage of being able to administer into the blood stream these alternative treatments and also at home in that ongoing way?
Maybe its not that helpful? I had thought it might be a great thing to be able to do for yourself without going to a homeopathic doc like once a week for an hour or two and thats it..
I mean a lot of these treatments are drop in the office and not that intensive.
Know what I mean??
