This is the craziest thing ever. I was aching, shivering this morning with body aches like I've never had.

On top of this, I had bad anxiety, and was having Tremors and felt like the seizure was imminent.

Since the IVIG, I have been going downhill like there was no tomorrow and I know I'm not out of this whole yet, but I am clear, I'm not shaking, no body aches, no nothing except some vertigo.

This is similar to the windows I would get with Rife and Salt/C.

How do I account for this ? Does this confirm the IVIG herx. Encephalitis doesn't clear up like this, nor does nothing in medicine that I'm familiar with.

I am so confused with this disease as to what is what. I'm sure I'll wake up feeling like crap tomorrow, but this is pure evidence that we are not stuck. Let me finish by saying I took nothing, not even detox as I was scared to put anything in me.

I actually took my kids out on a bike ride tonight and that felt so good. They were smiling like there was no tomorrow.

Lost in Lyme bizarre world,

LT

Actually symptoms can fluctuate quite a bit with encephalitis for 2 reasons.

One is spinal fluid pressure. There are a few things that can affect the pressure -- one is barometric pressure I think. There are some tricks a chirpractor can do as well. Sneezing I think is another one.

The 2nd issue involves blood flow to the brain. This can change depending on how much the blood vessels are inflamed. Other factors would obviously be babesia blocking up capillaries in a severe infection. Vasodilators may help.

If you have not had it done a SPECT scan would be very helpful to prove hypoperfusion or vasculitis from lyme.

Glad you got a reprieve but...

If you are 100% herxing from IVIG, that would mean you immune system is seeing the Bb, so if you were to get a western blot, you theoretically should come up CDC positive. You would have to be making massive antibodies.

Those Menegitis and Encephalitis like symptoms your describing scare the hell out me, you really need to find a doc to address them IMO, they require more treatment than a strong immunesystem.
So the doc that performed the LP, he is advising you just take it easy and ride it out?

Probably this is quite strong. I take IGG powder and have trouble taking more than 1/8 of teaspoon.
There are a lot of contraindications for IVIG, did you read the label.
http://www.rxlist.com/gammagard-drug.htm

Sepsis is a contraindication and I wonder if a blood infection like we have is basically the same.
I have no medical education, just my fears.
I wanted to get it myself, but unsure now.
