I am calling it blaoting because I don;t know what else to call it. I woke up yesterday with muscle cramps in my lower abdomen.

Feels like I did a bunch of sit ups and I can't even suck in my lower half if I tried.

It's painful and feels warm to touch.

I don't know if this is a Herx or a side effect from the Doxy. I have been getting constipated too.

I hope this isn't the weight gain coming on. It took me so long to get where I am now, since weight has been an issue since a child.

Any thoughts much appreciated.

I also have problems with bloating and have had since I came down with lyme and company in 2001.

When I look like I am 8 months pregnant I am pretty much bedridden. Which I find strange..but movement is difficult and seems to make it worse.

I currently started taking Pau de arco capsules. I am on a gluten free/sugar free food intake.

I do detox teas.

The guts affects the brain too.

Any other ideas??

Parasites/worms can cause this. Bloating is just one of the symptoms of a parasitic infection. Definitely shouldn't be ignored.

candida/yeast can be the culprit of constipation and bloating.

you can do a search here at the top of the page for TONS of info on probiotics, and herbal antifungals. these are both a must on a frequent basis while on antibiotics.

(hope you are already taking these tho) if not i would recommend it immediately!

good luck and keep us posted. [Smile]

Parasites feed on the candida and lower the immune system. It's a lot easier to get rid of candida once you get rid of the parasites,

I found this thread on ideas.

I have done the salt/C. It was during a time when I was lower functioning. Did not really know if it did anything for me or not.

I also have taken the enula for 6 months.

Time for one of the other products now.
