I'm so sorry folks. I hope I'm not driving everyone crazy. I was a big puzzle guy as a kid and I just need to figure this stuff out or I feel like I have no grip on this disease.

Some say they think the IVIG is doing this and others say it can't be, so I'm not sure.

All I know is that for the past week, I've been bad and worse each day.

I have NOt done any coffee enemas for at least 2 weeks and the same goes for the IV Glutathione.

So I did 1gm IV Push followed by the Coffee Enema. My anxiety is gone, my head is so much clearer when I couldn't even think straight.

I was sad, depressed, having bad thoughts in my head, and now it's all gone.

Does this mean I was Herxing ? Please someone tell me what this means. There is no Placebo effect in me and has never been, so what does this mean ?

I know it means I need to do more of this for one, but in the big picture, what does it mean being off abx and alternative stuff I was doing prior to the IVIG.

I would guess it means you have a lot of toxins that need to be dealt with. I got great benefit from coffee enemas. I also drank whey protein powder to be sure I had the raw materials for my liver to make glutathione.

I would also try to move each day. I don't know how much exercise you are able to do, but if you aren't able to lift weights and stretch, maybe a short walk? Rebounder?

I would also try to drink lots of water to flush it out.

They both help especially doing the Kpu protocal. So does French green clay with flax seeds. If ur still doing the supps u could be dumping metals and toxins that the iv glut and CE can help.

This is my opinion only. If it helps then obviously you have a deficiency of glutathione plus excess toxins which bind to glutathione.

Does this confirm a herx -- in my opinion -- no.

By definition a herx is an inflammatory response to the die off of borrelia and some other bacteria. IV glutathione and coffee enemas do not kill bacteria.

Also, if it was simply a herx once enough toxins were removed then the bad symptoms would not come back.

Something is causing you to produce toxins. In my opinion that something is active tickborne infections.

The coffee enemas and glutathione are in effect bandaids just like a pain pill is. They help control symptoms while you use other methods to get at the real infections.

I believe strongly in supplements and alternative methods and detox -- but those things by themselves will not get you well. If all you had was an ordinary cold or flu then it might work. But not for Lyme and tickborne infections.

If something makes you feel better then I am all for it, just don't lose sight of the real goal.

I agree with Bea. Herxing occurs when your body reacts to bacterial die-off, as a result of taking antibiotics.

What meds are you taking?

I also agree with Bea. I think you are dealing with active infections. I believe it was last week when you took some magnesium and got temporary relief.

I don't think the IVIG is strong enough at this point to deal with the kinds of tickborne infections that you have. Sorry, you are going through all of this.

Intravenous immune globulin (IVIG) is a blood product administered intravenously. It contains the pooled IgG immunoglobulins (antibodies) extracted from the plasma of over one thousand blood donors. IVIG's effects last between 2 weeks and 3 months. It is mainly used as treatment in three major categories:

According to this, I have another month of the IVIG doing whatever it's doing. I think this should answer some questions.

The Glutathione worked great last night, then I woke up with my head killing me again, but it cleared up a bit after drinking some water and walking around a bit. Still not as clear as last night.

Yes, I am full of toxins, no doubt. I had all my heavy metals checked, so it's not them. If after another month, I'm still like this than I will say it's not the IVIG, but until then, it sure feels like it is.
