My LLMD prescribed bovine adrenal hormone which I couldn't tolderate.
I brought test results to my PCP internal medicine doctor and he's just prescribed testosterone cream for me(I'm female).
My DHEA was very low as well as a couple of other long names with corticosterone on the end. Too tired to get up and look. Cortisol was ok but maybe because it was a 24 hour urine test and not a saliva test (?)
Does this prescription sound reasonable to any of you who have had adrenal problems?
Any women been on testosterone for this reason?
