Hello,
Sorry to be so graphic, but I'm really hoping for some good feedback. This has been going on for 3 weeks now.

I've been tested for C-Dif, E-Coli, and general parasites. All negative. No fever. No other unusual symptoms.

It's weird though. I typically have diarrhea in the AM. Then once it settles down I can eat. My system seems to stay settled best with carbs and protein, fat, but little veggies/fruit/fiber.

It's also strange diarrhea as it seems to be water with solid flecks and particles. Not bright yellow but yellowish.

So for hours I'm fine during the day. An hour or two after dinner, I'll have troubles, then usually I'm fine all night.

None of these coincided with new meds or supplements. I've never had this before. I started my current meds quite some time ago and got through the herx back then.

I have Lyme, Babesia, Bartonella. Currently I'm on high dose malarone, plaquenil, acyclovir for EBV, two blood pressure meds, and Lexapro.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Carol

i thought i was the only throne queen on here!!!

yep, that's me. but starts after breakfast. today is wierd cause i've gone three times.

i think it could be the probiotics but i don't take those until lunch and dinner, so it could be my meds. i take the biaxin, diflucan, bp meds, hormone in the morning.

i can almost time mine.

mine seems to be very loose and then watery. i don't know what causes it but one doc said i have "ibs". yeah, sure...been diagnosed with that for about 30 years.

Don't trust parasite tests. Mine showed bacterial problems in my gut, but showed no parasites. I SAW the parasites come out with a parasite cleanse.

Also, try eating fermented foods. They are rich in enzymes and probiotics. Be sure they are not pasteurized. Google "Wild Fermentation", it was the website that got me started. The homemade sauerkraut is so good, my 11 year old polished off the rest of the jar tonight ... she ate probably a cup of it!

Thanks for the comments. Although I was hoping someone would say, Oh yeah, I had that. It's ____. LOL

I did start VSL3 DS probiotics, 450 billion strong. I was hoping that might solve the problem, but no such luck.

CHeart,

There are a number of possibilities, either alone, or in combination.

First, you might be wheat and / or gluten intolerant (as I am) and that will cause these problems all by themselves, considering you're likely eating bread, pasta, etc. Ouch!

Second, also considering the carbs and the fact that you're on so many abx, you likely have a yeast problem. All the probiotics won't help if the yeast is already well entrenched.

My guess is it's a combination of both, plus the fact that you're intestinal tract is damaged. Get treated for yeast (Diflucan or Nystatin), cut back (way back) on the carbs and eat those acidophilus like crazy. If this doesn't help, you likely have a larger problem, such as toxins being reabsorbed in the intestines.

I'm not a doctor, but after 7 years on abx and 1.5 yrs in remission, these suggestions would be where I would start.

Best to you. I know how awful this problem can be.
