I am taking 1000 mg of Ceftin daily along with 500 mg of Levaquin. I asked my LLMD at my last appointment if I needed to increase it and he said some people only need 1000 mg.
He is going to add Biaxin instead.
I used to take only Biaxin or zith and felt much better than I do now. I didn't feel like I was getting better with that but only suppressing symtpoms.
On the Ceftin and Levaquin, my muscle twitching and air hunger are even better but I have stiff muscles, fatigue, and increased joint pain. My LLMD says this is to be expected because I am killing bacteria.
Does this seem right? I am reading here that 1000 mg of Ceftin is a low dose.
