Fascinating doctor's appointment today (yes on Sunday).
Daughter's LLMD has added new associate to his treatment team; Lyme Literate chiropractor / naturopath / kinesiologist (doctor has LD also).
Extremely interesting methodology. EMF (Electro-Magnetic-Field) sensitive testing revealing location of bacteria/parasites and suggested to MD where to concentrate treatment.
Chiroprator did not attempt to treat, only evaluate and make suggestions to MD.
Through EMF exam of our daughter, Chiro suggested that actual Lyme bacteria is in remission, but still present
(daughter's general health is much improved in last 6 to 8 months, which tends to substantiate findings).
Bartonella is active and Babesia low in body but high in brain and no toxins being released into spinal cord; therefore, increased Babesia treatment warranted (daughter's current symptoms tend to substantiate doctor's opinion).
Like I said, extremely fascinating concept. We have supreme confidence in LLMD and therefore trust that Chiro's evaluation / methodology is authentic.
I'm originally from Missouri and probably the world's biggest cynic and not one easily swayed by anything other than logic; however, I was impressed with this addition to my daughter's health care.
I will write more as new protcol proceeds.
I'm pretty ill myself (toxic mold poisoning and Type 2 Diabetes), so will try to answer any PM, but can't guarantee timing.

Thanks for keeping an open mind about this, Lymedad. And good to hear of your daughter's improvement.
If some of these more `illogical' methods of assessment and treatment have any merit, I figure they will prove themselves. That will require the willingness of enough people to try them, however.
I was very sorry to see that you are not well yourself. Are you working with someone for treatment of your mold/toxin/diabetes issues?

I'll tell you what's illogical; the majority of 12 to 15 doctors we've seen over the past 9 years.
We saw an infectious disease specialist in 1996 who, at my insistence, tested our daughter for Lyme. The results came back as CDC positive. This healer of humans unceremoniously declared the Western Blot results as "false" positive.
His reasoning was he hadn't heard of Lyme being in California.
He refused to do any further testing for Lyme or any of it's coinfections.
Did I mention he was (and still is) the only infectious disease specialist in our area.
Now that's ILLOGICAL.
Did I also mention that I wouldn't let him treat my dog for fleas.
As for my illness, I'm seeing my daughter's LLMD and her ND and I feel confident I'll regain my health.
BTW, I'm making an appointment with the Chiro that examined my daughter for next week.

Good analogy, lymedad - your daughter's experience with conventional docs and `experts' is an ugly, classic example. We all become `finders of truth' the hard way..... since there's no other option.
Thanks for the update on your own treatment. I see that you mentioned some of this in your other thread - sorry, I guess I missed it.
It shall be most interesting to see what the new chiro finds......

Lymedad,
That's great to hear! I think I probably know the doc your daughter is seeing...I saw him when lived in CA and was impressed when he didn't bat an eye when I mentioned I'd tested positive for Lyme with electro-dermal testing.
Betty,
When I read the 7.3 a1c I was like, yea! Funny because hubby is diabetic (type 1) and his is always over 10, sometimes 11!!!! but with type one you do not make ANY insulin at all....for 19 years of having it...he has NO problems...no diabetic retinopathy, no kidney issues, no nothing...we hope it stays that way and he is supposed to be getting an insulin pump next month.
Funny how what may be terrible for one person is great for another!

Hey lymedad could you please reveal more specifics about that test? Did he use any sort of device?
I googled and all I could come up with is EMF stuff relevant to people sensitives to external emfs , not as a diagnostic procedure

(Bear with me, I'm having some cognitive problems, so some or even all of this might not make sense)
Daughter was prone on exam table. Right hand at 90d angle balled in a fist.
Vials of differing bacteria were placed on her chest. An opened box containing more vials of bacteria, parasite, etc. was laid on top of the vials.
The doctor grasped my daughter's right fist and instructed her to use the index finger of her left hand to touch each of the vials in the box as the doctor "sensed" the reaction.
I know that explanation probably makes no sense whatsoever, but if you'd like I can send you the letter the Chiro sent us as a means of introduction.
I'd have to send it via your personal e-mail address as an attachment, it's three pages long and won't fit as a post to this forum.
I will remove all references to her name, etc., but you will probably get more out it than my rambling.
If you don't chose to PM w/ your e-mail address, just ask questions and I'll try to answer.
