So I have been on abx since Aug 3. Got bit around July 16th. Was on Doryx then was switched to Amoxicillin, which I have been on for a week.
Tested negative for co-infections, but positive for Lyme.
Yesterday I had 2 bumps that looked like mosquito bites, but the one on my thigh this morning now looks like a bulls eye. The center actual bubbled like a blister. Which is similar to the bites I had in the beginning.
Is this normal during treatment? I was no where near grassy areas this weekend so I don't think I got bitten again.
Is the new abx bringing this out?

I am not sure how "normal" this will be but definitely possible. Our llmd showed me a picture of rush from one of his patients who at time was already under treatment for a more than a year.

Well, I had ticks in my house in the city and the only thing near the complex was shrubs' tendrils overhanging the sidewalks and leaf litter. I was bitten last year b/c the landscaping is such an ideal habitat for the buggers. So: we don't need to be around grassy areas to be bitten.
However, my sister broke out in distinct bull's eye rashes on her legs while on IV abx --- which she never had to begin with. At least, they weren't visible.
