Contacted several LLMDs today. I am very excited about the idea of MDs who have training in holistic medicine- none of them here!!
Since they are already doing a second blood draw, I am petitioning my neurologist to sign off on IgeneX. I have documented reasoning and studies about increased WB bands.
We are going to get those results and then immediately head out of state to see an LLMD (mid-Oct). If we have the IgeneX test, that will help. I am also petitioning my neuro to run a test for coinfections to get that done now, but I'm not overly optimistic on that.
Unfortunately while I'm playing the waiting game, I also am starting my cycle over so the symptoms are much worse right now. I knew this was coming and have been preparing for it. I just hate when it actually happens.
I have also had very frank conversations with family. They can either accept this as a dx now or wait for a month, but I have told them the likelihood of a false positive is very very low.
It's strange after being sick for almost a year (and having weird ailments off and on for many years) to think that there might be a treatment in sight.

Yeah!! I agree with Lymetoo, you've done a really good job in a very short time educating yourself. Glad to hear you are making arrangements!

Did you see my suggestion about Igenex, in your thread in the General forum?
You should call the lab and request a test kit, so that you have it in hand. Regular labs aren't going to have it, and it makes sending it via FedEx much easier.

- Also be sure it gets shipped out early in the week.
And that the day you get the blood draw leaves enough time for that lab's Fed Ex pickup (you'll have to call your lab and see what time Fed Ex usually comes there - and go in early enough for the processing of it and to allow if Fed Ex is a little early).
Call Igenex for details.
how it is handled from the time it leaves your arm to when Igenex gets it does matter.
