- So glad to hear of your success.
Yes, echoing BHealthyNow, Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy should be your first stop.
Can your (past) LLMD refer you to a LL Vestibular Therapist (or a P.T. who does Vestibular Retraining? Although you are much better, it is best if you have someone who knows about lyme regarding stamina and endurance as well as the unique balance stuff that often goes with lyme.
Tai Chi and QiGong may be very good, too, after you get some individualized training. " Yoga for the Eyes" can be an additional help. It's in one of these threads:

Glad you are doing so much better, Cadames!
Don't worry about editing your topic. No big deal.

If you are still getting lots of pain, numbness, and dizziness, I hope that your doctors can help you rule out co-infections, or persistent Lyme symptoms. The symptoms you describe are all possible CNS stage Lyme symptoms (Lyme meningitis, encephalopathy, CNS and/or PNS nerve damage, etc.).
I am so glad that you have made it this far! However, I would not let down my guard just yet if I were you. The general guidelines for treating Lyme are to treat for 2 or more months past the disappearance of any symptoms. If your treatment stops working to remove the symptoms, there are likely other "co-infections" that have not been adequately addressed.
I hope you can find an LLMD close to where you live now. Though your other doctors recognize Lyme, they are not experts in that field, nor in other tick-borne diseases.
Hopefully it is all due to the degenerative disks, but please keep in mind that Lyme can cause degenerative disks, and it might still be.
Lyme is very difficult to kill in the spinal cord/CNS, and you can never be sure you are entirely rid of the Lyme in your body. What we are all after is remission from the symptoms.
I don't want to be a voice of worry in an otherwise happy thread, but I also want to see you hold on to your progress and not ever have to go through a relapse. You sound like a very strong and positive person, and I'm very happy to hear of your success! Keep on!
