BE SURE to take probiotics .. you don't want to be sorry!!! Yeast can be a huge problem. Avoid at all costs!
Kefir (unless it's homemade) contains a lot of sugar. Read labels or make your own. There was a thread this past week on kefir.
Look on page 2 or 3 or do a search.

Yes, take the probiotics, too. Kefir is good, and I make/drink it myself. I also drink Kombucha and eat lots of sauerkraut that I also make.
But, on abx you better also supplement. It's still worth consuming the fermented products because they have different strains and enzymes.

but i would definitely add the probiotics. its as important as the lyme treatment to replace your flora. when i used to make kefir i would empty a probiotic capsulae into the drink & let it ferment togeather. worked pretty good till i couldn't stomach the kefir anymore.
