Is there other infections than LD and

co-infections which need long antibiotic

treatment. I mean... abx kills most of bacters

pretty quickly (not LD and co-inf.). I just

wondered, because I have LD suspicion (rash 2,5

years ago, symptoms 11 months), i`ve taken abx

1,5 weeks, and I`m herxing a lot, but I think i

have to take abx weeks/months to get cured. SO...

i just wondered could this prove that I have LD.

CPN, Tuberculosis, chlamidyosis, tertiary syphillis - that just on top of my head . Most bacteria which are killed quickly are the ones which do not have persistent and intracell forms (like borellia does).

Did you run western blot yet? -igenex preferably but since you in Finland I dont know if you have access to more sensitive tests. -I think most people (not all) but sizeable majority with lyme do actually have Borellia specific bands on their western blot

Most doctors in Finland still believe that if you

dont have antibodies in your blood, you cant have

LD. There`s a possibility to do WB and pcr in

Finland, but I dont know if they are that accurate

either.

I`ve tried to read and read, but I just haven`t

found any other infection or disease which would

suit for me.

Mycoplasma infection! This infection has symptoms similar to LD and can take a while to get over.
