So much info here against getting the shot but I was just wondering if anybody has actually had the shot with no problems or exacerbation of lyme symptoms. Or even if anyone has had problems from the shot.
My LLMD says not to get it but I tend to get bronchitis from winter colds so I am afraid. Before lyme I always got seasonal flu shot.
My daughter in college had H1N1 shot a couple of days ago and my son in college will probably be able to get it this week. So many kids at their schools are going home sick.

I'm interested to see what responses you get. I'm afraid to get the vaccine for myself or my kids.
But I'm also scared of any of us getting the H1N1 or regular flu--my older son has asthma.

My daughter did fine with the shot - I am afraid for my kids NOT to get the shot after seeing the piece on 60 Minutes.

None of us are getting the shot. Supposedly H1N1 has gone around our community. 22% were absent from my kids' high school. We got whatever was going around.
We took Vitamin D when we heard about the bug going around locally, and mesosilver when we got it. Aside from going to bed early one night with aches, sore throat, nausea, we all did fine and breezed through it. Others in our community got very ill, but so far all survived.
I'll stick with the natural immune builders/anti-virals.
