I'm pretty sure this is part of my Rife Herx, but it's been pretty bad since Friday.

Somehow, I'm able to sleep, but it's one of those things that starts the minute my eyes open.

This pain is on top of the two notches in the back of my head toward the base of the skull. It seems to go hand and hand with my Disequlibirium, which is terrible in itself.

I've tried Ice packs, Excedrin, and even Percocet. Nothing really gets at it.

I'm drinking tons of water, coffee and tap water enemas and Ginger tabs, Epsom salt baths, but nothing seems to work.

My mind feels pretty clear amazingly, but the pain and discomfort is one of those 20/10 pain ratings.

Any suggestions ?

Gary

No, but I will next time it comes on. Just did a 2 Liter tap water enema and got some major relief.

Geez, the stuff we have to go through.

I hate those big enemas, so uncomfortable.

Thx,

Gary

I live with this problem most days. Heat seemed

to make mine hurt worse. I stick with ice packs

when it gets really bad. It usually goes away at

some point.(for me) Wish you well

I had this for a while, and it was excruciating. Can't remember what I did.

This was a longstanding problem for me. It's mostly gone now, but I think it's an indication that there's a heavy colony of bacteria in the brainstem. This seems logical, given all of the neurologic problems we have.

Are they like little lumps at the base of the skull? I know that trigger points ( little knots) can form at the base of the skull, and can cause a lot of pain....There are several ways to get some relief, all are based on putting pressure on these knots and holding it until the knot releases.

Good suggestion on the trigger points.

Sounds to me (as a chiro) that your first neck bone (C1) is stuck. Best thing I have used for migraines from that is a technique called Pierce.

No turning, twisting of the neck. An adjusting instrument is used while you stay in a neutral position.

Google for Vern Pierce DC and you can find a list of docs that do his work.

Also google for Maurice Piscattano for practitioners in your area. His work is very similar to Pierces as they worked todether. I had the great fortune to train with both of them.

My ex went from 14 migraines per year to one a year after this type of intervention.
