HELP! I have been on doxycycline 100 mg. 2 x's a day for 1 month along with Phytoartemisinin 2 tablets 3x's a day, Spiro- a herbal Lyme treatment and Lymestat- a homeopathic treatment. I had a liver funciton test and my liver enzymes are elevated again - ast was 68 and alt was 78- both high. I was on triple antibiotic therapy for less than 1 month 3 months ago and the same thing happened and the doc took me off all antibiotics. I just don't seem to be getting better. Has anyone had this happen???
I am on herbal liver support and milk thistle but it has not made a difference. I am sooo frustrated and sick of being sick. Nancy

You MUST take a "medication vacation" for a FEW DAYS and give your liver time to recover.
No drugs, no supplements NO ALCOHOL.
It is very capable of "regeneration".

I would try the C and E to reduce the enzymes.
You can read the literature yourself by searching vitamin e lowers liver enzymes.
