As far as I know the two main types of EDTA are calcium EDTA and magnesium EDTA.
Calcium EDTA is much harder to tolerate -- alternative docs have just been using it for the last 4 or 5 years I think. They like it because it can be infused quickly -- in 20 or 30 minutes I think.
The old magnesium EDTA was what was originally used for chelation -- I think the infusions take an hour or maybe even 90 minutes. Some docs still use this form.
Sorry but I don't know much about oral forms of EDTA.

Thanks for answering
The iV edta I get takes 2 1/2 to 3 hours to infuse.
Isnt there a sodium EDTA or something else too?
Hmmm I have been trying to read up. I was told my a doctor that the EDTA with the Lecithin is the best and more absorbable above and beyond even the Calcium EDTA IV> SO I know for sure that EDTA K2 is not calcium EDTA.
And that comment was not from the prescribing doctor himself.. Another doctor.
But anyway.. If anyone else knows.. let me know..
Next to the Lecithin is says (soy source).
It takes like soy sauce kinda.. its weird.
