It's been seven weeks since I started on IV Rocephin. There has really been no improvement except I have noticed that the sensitivity to cold that I've had for years is gone.
Pretty thankful for that since Winter is here!
Has this gone away for anyone else?

That is awesome news! It may seem minimal, but that sensitivity to cold is harsh! Have you been keeping track of your symptoms with a journal?
I have been really bad at journaling anything AT ALL for months and months. I read your post and wondered if I would even notice some progress without journaling.
Although this hasn't gone away totally for me, I have to say that it isn't horrible all the time...and my mom has improved in this area as well (also treating lyme and coinfections).
On another note - do you have a picc line or a port? I am just curious how others do it. And does your insurance cover it?

I did track my symptoms for a while and some do shift in frequency & intensity but for the past 7-8 months, there have been the same ten notable symptoms.
A couple of them have become slightly worse and only the sensitivity to cold has improved. It's definitely a start because I was always cold and it was actually painful.
It's a PICC line. Since it is out-of-network, my insurance company covered only 70% of a fee they think is appropriate. Unfortunately, my doctor's office doesn't write off the difference so I'm responsible for what's left. It's still quite a chunk of money though.
What treatment plan are you & your mom on? Do you have any other symptoms that have improved?
