just got my blood work back that was ordered by th LLMD.
Lyme Western Blot IGG P58 present abnormal
the other.
WBC 10.6
Alkaline Phosphatase, S 172
EBV Ab VCA, IGG 8.0
EBV Ab VCA, IGM 4.0
Platelets 425
Neutrophils 75
Neutrophils absolute 8.0

this wasn't all the blood work. just the ones that were abnormal, can anyone help me interpret these? thanks.

Well, the only test involving Lyme is the Western Blot....and only band 58 was present.

DR C of MO has this list of important bands... 58 is there.

Which lab was this??

The elevated WBC could indicate ehrlichiosis.

Did your LLMD not order from IgeneX?

IGM: 18+, 23+, 30+, 31+++, 34+, 39IND, 41++, 58+++, 66+, 83-93IND
IGG: 31+, 39IND, 41+
Also positive for Mycoplasma Pneumoniae and RMSF.
Whole family of 5 dx with Lyme.

i'm kind of confused on that. it says in the paperwork that he does but when i got the Rx for bloodwork in the mail it was listed. when i called and asked they told me to go through the local lab. i think he does co-infections at his office through IGENEX

You would likely have more bands show up if you had a test thru Igenex.

So if your IgM for EBV is 4.0 and it should be between .4 and .8 then you should talk with your doctor about the possibility that EBV is a current problem for you.
