I've been having some abd pain/nausea/loss of appetite/shivering off and on for almost a decade now, Lyme dx only last yr. (many, many other sx as well).

Only treating Lyme right now. My nausea/shivering/abd pain is ridiculous. Labs, U/S, all normal.

I usually eat fairly well, it's making me nervous not to be able to eat. Am keeping hydrated and dry toast when possible. Can't even tolerate home remedies like ginger tea right now.

Will Zofran help the above sx? I realize it's an anti-nausea med. Thanks in advance!!

Zofran should help relieve the nausea but I doubt it will help with the other symptoms. Sorry.

I also have many GI problems caused by vagal neuropathy (gastroparesis, abd pain attacks, constipation, nausea, etc). Zofran only helps with the nausea.

Without Zofran I would not have been able to eat or drink anything over these past several days.

btmb03, have you seen a gastroenterologist for your GI symptoms? If not, you should consider an appt. They would give you a proper GI workup. And even if everything came back "normal", they might have some suggestions for symptomatic relief. It would be worth a try.

Thx so much for your feedback Sammy, your point is well taken, I probably will need to see a GI specialist...again. I'm so glad Zofran has helped you, how many mg?
