Lyme is treatable, fortunately, but treatment requires a lyme literate doctor. Many people with lyme have the 41 band present in blood tests.

41 doesn't provide enough evidence to diagnose Lyme Disease, but it is enough to suspect it and thus further investigate with a specialist in the field of Lyme Disease and associated infections.
41 is the most often cited band by many patients -- whether negative or positive. If 41 doesn't show up at all, but other numbers do instead -- that's rare in my experience. K41 is the largest flagella protein of borrelia species, though it is unknown to which specific subspecies it is. One of which could be borrelia burdorferi.

I have seen people who only show band 41 until they
do a antibiotic challenge where they then get a
better immune response showing more bands. But like
they say a good LLMD can tell you clinically if you
have it or not.
