Also, does anyone use herbs with antibiotics and has had success. Have a condition called
hyponatremia that causes my salt to go down (can't retain salt) and also am on toprol to
regulate heart rate (had v-tac a few years ago). Don't know which way to go. Afraid of
herbs because of salt and heart issues, but am tired like everyone else to go back on
ceftin/zithromax orals. God has blessed me by being off antibiotics for about 9 months, but
salt down again, wbc down...swollen lymph nodes, here we go again. Thanx in advance and
good health.

If you have hyponatremia, Have you considered the salt/c protocol? (sea salt)
I have read that there is a connection between infectious disease and salt deficiency. Sea salt and vitamin c support the adrenal glands.
Hyponatrenia can be associated with low adrenal functioning. I am getting close to remission using salt/c and antiparasitic herbs,

My understanding is that the neurotoxins released as the spirochetes are killed may be harder on nerve cells than the disease itself. And my ID said nerve cells take a long time to heal-many months to a year or more....but that usually no permanent damage is done. Usually. Sure hope he is right!
I am not a doctor-just passing along what I am learning from MD's, and research on neuropathic pain/nerve cell damage.
